Caramelised Onion DIP

Ingredients
2 tbspn butter (unsalted preferable)
2 unit(s) medium onions (thinly sliced)
3/4 tsp salt
4/5 tsp black pepper
225 gm cheese (at room temperature)
1 cup sour cream
2 tbspn fresh chives (chopped)
Instructions
Step 1- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add the onions and ½ teaspoon salt and cook, stirring occasionally, until deep golden brown, 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
Step 2- Serve with DIP Chips, Multigrain Strips or Masala Sticks.
