Sugar cravings can be serious and the addiction is real. Which is why, we st DIP Foods, have started the #DIPSugarFreeChallenge to beat this deadly food item.

Once you’ve ditched the sweets, you’ll feel great and charged for the next few days (especially with an increased intake of greens). But then your body starts to realize that you have taken away ALL the sugar! Soon, your brain starts craving the sugar and find yourself sneaking into the kitchen for a bite of that leftover cake!

If you think you are alone, fret not! This happens to everyone who suddenly decides to quit sugar for good. So we’ve got you a list of foods to help you with that untimely craving.

  3. Quinoa: Quinoa contains the mineral Magnesium. A deficiency in Magnesium might be the reason you have cravings in the first place.
  4. Coconut Oil: Coconut Oil has a slightly sweet taste. It slows down the release of glucose into the blood which gives you a longer feeling of satisfaction.
  5. Berries: Berries contain the polyphenols that inhibit many of the adverse consequences of the sugar contained in the fruit without affecting the taste.
